Tianjin Museum and Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts Established Teaching Practical Base

In the afternoon of March 26th, 2008, the teaching practical base of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts was established in TJ Museum. Persons in charge of both sides exchanged letters of agreement in a friendly and warm atmosphere and held the ceremony of the foundation in the VIP Hall.

Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts is the third college that establishes teaching practical base with TJ Museum after Tianjin Normal University and NanKai University. In order to give a full play of its educational function, TJ Museum is devoted to the juvenile education. Establishing teaching practical bases with universities in Tianjin is one of the important measures for the Museum to go into schools. For a long time, taking the advantage of its relic collection, the Museum offers the universities teaching materials. It establishes a communication platform for the students and the experts of the Museum and provides the students with opportunities of learning for application. After three years’ practice, the measure has achieved good results and is popular among the teachers and students.
